The Ministry of Commerce Reports the Development Situation of Service Outsourcing in China from January to April in 2015

The Ministry of Commerce opened the press conference on May 15, Danyang Shen, the spokesman, reported the business operation situation of the months from January to April. Danyang Shen expressed that, from January to April, the companies in China signed 34.5 Billion USD of service outsourcing contract amount, increased by 2.1% year-on-year, the implementation amount is 24.6 Billion USD, increased by 12% year-on-year.

The Service Outsourcing Situation in China from January to April in 2015 Is as Follows:

From January to April in 2015, the companies in China sign 34.5 Billion USD of service outsourcing contract amount, increased by 2.1% year-on-year, the implementation amount is 24.6 Billion USD, increased by 12% year-on-year. And, the contract amount of offshore service outsourcing is 21.73 Billion USD, decreased by 5.3% year-on-year; the implementation amount is 16.35 Billion USD, increased by 10.1% year-on-year. The contract amount of onshore service outsourcing is 12.77 Billion USD, increased by 17.8% year-on-year, the implementation amount is 8.25 Billion USD, increased by 16.1% year-on-year.

Currently, the overall recovery of international economic situation is slow, the main outsourcing markets such as America, European Union, Japan are relatively fatigued and weak, the business performances of traditional outsourcing companies slide down, the foreign outsourcing businesses reduce, these are the main reasons of year-on-year decline of contract amount of offshore service outsourcing in China. In the mean time, it appears new changes on the aspect of service outsourcing industrial structure. From January to April, China undertakes the implementation amounts of offshore Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO), Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) are 8.15 Billion USD, 5.92 Billion USD and 2.38 Billion USD respectively, increased by 1%, 26.7% and 10.4% year-on-year respectively, the proportions are 49.9%, 35.6% and 14.5% respectively. KPO remains quick increase, the proportion firstly exceeds 35%.
