Baidu Commits To Permanent Free Map Navigation Services

Chinese search engine Baidu Inc. launched V2.0 of its navigation application and said the services will be provided to users permanently for free.

The basic data used in the Baidu navigation is from four-dimensional data. It combines all local lifestyle data and geographical information information from the search engine’s database.

In addition, Baidu’s navigation application is developed to meet the driving demands of users. The new version features a new interface design and a simple and elegant style, allowing rapid access to various functions for drivers.
