1. Focusing on advanced manufacturing of IT and precision machinery

The goal is to improve the leading position of IT and precision machinery among local industries and to increase their competitive edges in international markets.

In electronic information sector, the task is to produce comprehensive products covering LCD panel and peripherals, integrated circuits, computer and peripherals, and communication equipments. The specific goal is to introduce one to two next-generation panel production lines as well as one to two lines of 12-inch and above integrated circuits by 2015, to realize 300 billion yuan industrial output value, and to become one of the leading IT industrial bases in the world.

Precision machinery includes three sectors of auto parts, aviation parts, and medical equipments. The goal is to realize 150 billion yuan industrial output by 2015.

2. Creating industrial base for rising sectors led by nano-tech

According to existing industrial conditions in SIP and national strategy, SIP plans to promote rising sectors of optical energy, bio-med, converged communications, software and animation, and ecological protection by creating a group of industrial clusters with the size of at least 10 billion yuan and a number of competitive products. The goal is to realize 100 billion yuan industrial output value of five rising sectors by the end of 2015.

3. Developing modern services centering on financial industry

Finance: gathering more head offices or regional offices so that the number of financial institutions and service providers totals at 500 in 2015 and the contribution rate of finance to regional GDP reaches 7%.

Culture: gathering more than 1,000 cultural enterprises with competitiveness, creating at least one national cultural industrial base, and realizing 6% contribution rate of cultural industry to local GDP by the end of 2015.

Service outsourcing: achieving 7.5 billion US dollars of outsourcing contracts including three billion dollars of offshore contracts by 2015.

Logistics: getting 500 logistics enterprises and 1,200 trade companies by 2015, with the value of imported and exported cargoes under supervision exceeding 180 billion dollars.

Exhibition, convention and travel: receiving 540,000 in-bound visitors with an annual average growth of 20% and total revenue of 150 billion US dollars as well as 7.5 million domestic visitors with 10 billion yuan income by 2015.
